Arrival to the airport Zvartnots. Transfer to the hotel, Yerevan.


Breakfast. Half day city tour. Visits to Matenadaran – depository of ancient manuscripts, Museum of History of Armenia, Tsiternakaberd – Monument and Museum devoted to the Genocide of Armenians in 1915. Visit to Yerevan Brandy Factory with tasting of Armenian brandy. In the second half of the day continue to Echmiadzin – the center of Armenian Apostolic church, Cathedral Treasury, Hriprime Martyria church. Visit to Maran winery in Musaler. On the way back visit to the ruins of Zvartnots Temple – the pearl of the 7th c. architecture. Return to Yerevan hotel, overnight.


Breakfast. Visit to Yerevan “NOY” Brandy-Wine-Vodka factory, tasting of cognac. Drive to Khor-Virap monastery, 5th c., with view of the Ararat Valley and Ararat Mountain, place of pilgrimage of all Armenians, where in underground prison St. Gregory The Illuminator was imprisoned for preaching Christianity. Drive to Vayots Dzor province to visit Areni winery. The Areni-1 winery is a 6100-year-old winery that was discovered in 2007 in the Areni-1 cave complex in the village of Areni. Wine tasting and lunch. Continue to Noravank Monastery Complex, 12-13th cc. Drive back to Yerevan.


Breakfast. Drive to Oshakan village, visit to the St. Mesrop Mashtots (author of Armenian alphabet) Church, constructed in 1875-1879. Under the dome of the church there is the grave of Mesrop Mashtots. After visit to “Armenian Wines” factory, wine tasting. Continue tour to Amberd fortress, 7th c., located at 2300 meters above sea level. Lunch. Continue tour to “Voskevaz” winery with wine tasting. Drive back to Yerevan. Dinner. Overnight.


Breakfast. Departure for half day tour to Garni – Pagan Temple of the 1st c. A.D. Continue tour to Geghard Cave Monastery, 12-13th cc., carved from solid rock. Drive back to Yerevan. Visit to Cascade monument.Inside the Cascade, underneath the exterior steps, are seven escalators that rise along the length of the complex. There are also exhibit halls connected to some of the landings along the escalators which compose the Cafesjian Museum of Art. The exterior of The Cascade features multiple levels adorned with fountains and modernist sculptures from the Cafesjian collection. The stairs afford walkers unobstructed views of central Yerevan and Mount Ararat. At the base of the Cascade is a garden court yard with statues by contemporary sculptures such as Botero. Lunch with wine in one of the nice cafes next to Cascade.


Breakfast. Drive to Lake Sevan. Visit to Noradouz, biggest cemetery of khachkars (cross-stones) in Armenia, dating back to 7-10th cc. Continue tour to Sevan Monastery, 8-9th cc. on the peninsula. Lunch on Sevan Lake. Drive back to Yerevan. Visit to Martiros Saryan Museum. Dinner in one the wine bars located on Saryan street. Overnight.


Transfer to the aiport. Departure.
